Air Quality Sampling

ESI employs a variety of air sampling techniques for the purposes of assessing vapor-phase contaminant migration pathways and potentials, and indoor air characterization. Soil vapor, sub-slab vapor, and indoor air sampling data are evaluated to determine potential issues with human exposure to contaminants, and to assist in the selection of appropriate response actions. Sampling and evaluation standards are consistent with those provided in the New York State Department of Health’s ¬ (NYSDOH) Guidance for Evaluating Soil Vapor Intrusion in the State of New York (October 2006).
